While 46 percent of consumers report that AI has improved their banking communication, traditional human interaction remains a critical anchor. Sixty percent of respondents still report missing the human touch in automated exchanges. Marwin Ramcke, CEO of the EOS Group, notes that these figures suggest AI serves best as a tool to augment service rather than a complete replacement for professional relationships.
Consumers are pushing for more proactive financial management, with 61 percent expressing a desire for AI alerts regarding potential overdrafts. Additionally, 51 percent of those surveyed value AI-driven suggestions for payment plans when facing outstanding receivables. Despite this appetite for intelligent anticipation, trust remains measured; only about 35 percent of users currently believe AI systems can accurately understand their specific needs or solve complex problems with sufficient precision.
