The organization’s flagship hub, The Toy Building in El Segundo, is currently undergoing an expansion to meet surging demand. With the original four floors nearly at capacity, the association is adding two more levels, totaling 50,000 square feet of new showroom space. This facility serves as a central touchpoint for manufacturers, retailers, and global brands to conduct year-round business alongside the scheduled market weeks.
Greg Ahearn, president and CEO of The Toy Association, credited the success of the 2026 events as a primary driver for the upcoming year. He noted that the industry’s resilience and focus on in-person collaboration remain central to the association’s strategy. Beyond the Los Angeles previews, the group continues to manage a portfolio of major trade events, including Toy Fair New York and the Chicago Toy & Game Fair, while maintaining partnerships with Circana and the X Tracks Licensing Summit to bolster educational programming for 2027.
