Bruce ATS now accounts for over 20% of reported overnight notional value across the three primary alternative trading systems. According to Jason Wallach, CEO of Bruce Markets, the integration empowers participants to make more informed comparisons regarding execution quality. This development arrives as the sector experiences rapid expansion; the Bruce Q2 Overnight Market Review reported a total of 11.14 billion shares traded across leading venues, a 34% increase from the previous quarter.
Bruce ATS itself recorded a 144% jump in volume to 1.16 billion shares, while executed notional value rose 105% to $49.03 billion. Mark Davies, CEO of S3, noted that as clients demand a comprehensive view of performance throughout the entire trading day, the inclusion of Bruce data provides the necessary clarity to evaluate liquidity across shifting conditions. The integration follows Bruce Markets' recent announcement regarding plans to launch the first continuous weekend U.S. equities trading session, currently pending regulatory review.
