Constructed from 316L stainless steel, the Exo.1 moves away from traditional subtractive machining. Instead, Parivas utilizes a continuous structural lattice that integrates the bezel, case body, lugs, and floating hour indices into a single monolithic form. This approach, which the company calls additive watchmaking, allows for complex internal geometries and hollow features that would be impossible to achieve through conventional manufacturing methods.
Co-founder and CEO Mickey Brown, who previously applied his expertise to aerospace engineering, spent over 10,000 hours developing the watch’s design alongside the evolution of metal 3D printing technology. At the Center415 venue, all four co-founders will be on-site to demonstrate how the watch is constructed from steel powder. While inventory sold at the show will be available to take home immediately, subsequent orders will be fulfilled as part of the initial production batch scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2027.
