Global Brands Magazine presented the bank with the 'Best CSR Islamic Bank' and 'Excellence in Islamic Financial Solutions' titles during the October 2 ceremony at the Address Sky View. The awards committee cited the bank’s disciplined integration of ethical financial services with community-focused governance as the primary driver for the selection.

Since its founding in 1983 as the first private bank in the Republic of Guinea, the institution has expanded its reach across the trade, construction, and agricultural sectors. Mamadou Lamrana Barry, CEO of the Islamic Bank of Guinea, attributed the success to the bank’s emphasis on digital transformation and compliance, noting that the recognition validates the institution's ongoing strategy to promote financial inclusion. Jay Reddy, CEO of Global Brands Magazine, noted that the bank’s ability to balance traditional Islamic financial principles with modern economic development remains a benchmark for the regional market.
