Medibank launches cancer coaching program with Osara Health

The program utilizes a team of exercise physiologists trained in health coaching to provide targeted guidance on nutrition, physical activity, and mental wellbeing. Delivered remotely over a period of six to 12 weeks, the service is designed to support patients regardless of their location, filling the gap between formal medical appointments.

Dr. Raghav Murali-Ganesh, CEO of Osara Health, noted that the collaboration addresses the isolation many patients experience when managing the daily realities of treatment at home. This approach is backed by a 2026 study published in JMIR Cancer, which documented clinically meaningful improvements in the physical and mental health of participants. Dr. Paul Eleftheriou, Chief Medical Officer at Medibank, emphasized that the partnership aims to provide compassionate, responsive care that extends well beyond the hospital walls.
