Windmill Enters Heating Market With Design-Focused Ceramic Heater

Priced at $129, the new Windmill Space Heater combines whisper-quiet operation with a minimalist aesthetic, signaling the brand's latest push into home climate control. Founders Mike and Danny Mayer aim to replace utilitarian, unsightly hardware with a device that integrates directly into modern living spaces without sacrificing safety or performance.

Windmill Enters Heating Market With Design-Focused Ceramic Heater

The device features Ceramic+ Precision Heating and a 70-degree oscillation range for consistent warmth distribution. Powered by a Dual-Ring Brushless DC Motor, the unit operates at noise levels as low as 20 dBs, targeting bedroom and office environments. To address common safety concerns, Windmill incorporated flame-retardant V0 internals, tip-over protection, and a specialized SafeFuse™ power plug. The design intentionally omits Wi-Fi connectivity, requiring manual activation to prevent accidental or remote triggering.

Beyond technical specifications, the company emphasizes interior customization. The heater includes interchangeable handles available in Sage, Sand, and Coral to match various home decor styles. This launch follows the brand's earlier expansion into air purifiers and fans, further distancing the company from its original focus solely on window air conditioners. The product is currently available through the company’s direct-to-consumer website.
