FROPRO Snacks Scales National Presence to Nearly 400 Whole Foods Stores

From a kitchen experiment born of personal recovery to a national retail player, FROPRO Snacks is scaling its footprint from 70 to 398 Whole Foods Market locations. The expansion across seven U.S. regions signals a significant move for the refrigerated bar brand, which emphasizes organic ingredients and plant-based protein.

The rollout brings the brand’s signature flavors—Birthday Cake, Salted Pistachio Crunch, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Toasted Mallow—to shelves across the Florida, South, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Southwest, and South Pacific regions. While availability varies, the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, South Pacific, South, and Florida markets will stock the full four-flavor lineup. These bars, which pack 9–10 grams of protein, are positioned in the refrigerated section to maintain quality, though they remain shelf-stable for on-the-go consumption.

Founder Matt Williams, who has been sober since 2010, developed the original recipe during his early recovery. Alongside CEO and co-founder Chelsea Williams, he has built a company that actively employs individuals in recovery. The Boca Raton-based brand differentiates itself from traditional, gym-focused protein bars by prioritizing a snackable, craveable profile. This retail surge represents the company’s most significant growth milestone since its inception, highlighting the rising consumer demand for refrigerated, clean-label snacks.
