Roscoe joins the firm following the recent recruitment of Sofiya Bumagin, who transitioned from Sidley Austin. Together, the pair provides a dual-focus approach to the London office: Roscoe brings extensive experience in battery storage, green hydrogen, and biomass restructuring, while Bumagin focuses on private equity and infrastructure investment. These additions are part of a broader push by Executive Chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum to scale the firm’s global energy capabilities.
Working alongside practice head Shashank Krishna, Roscoe will manage complex mandates ranging from onshore wind farm sales to the financing of synchronous condenser portfolios. Fiona Adams, the firm’s London managing shareholder, noted that the hire aligns with the current client demand for navigation through energy transition and infrastructure shifts. Roscoe herself cited the firm’s expansive international platform as the primary driver for her move, signaling a commitment to integrating her practice into the firm’s existing global network.
