Brooklyn Townhouse Transformed for 2026 Real Simple Home Showcase

A four-story townhouse in Fort Greene has been reimagined as the 2026 Real Simple Home, marking the ninth iteration of the brand’s design showcase. The project features collaborations with a diverse roster of interior designers and a specialized room created in partnership with the Parents media brand.

The townhouse at 28 Saint Felix Street serves as a physical manifestation of the magazine’s philosophy, emphasizing intentional living through wellness-focused spaces and functional aesthetics. Designers including Betsy Wentz, Brandon Dean, and the team from Euphoria Collective worked alongside editors to curate the interiors. Beyond the visual appeal, the project integrates practical decor concepts intended for modern family life.

Public engagement begins this month with two distinct events. On October 17, the "Well Curated" market will spotlight female-founded small businesses, drawing inspiration from traditional neighborhood stoop sales. A follow-up "Holiday Atelier" event on November 21 will offer seasonal entertaining inspiration, featuring creator Denna Nazem. The property is supported by sponsors including Floor & Decor, Sherwin-Williams, and Primark, with further details and digital tours available through the brand’s official website and the October/November print edition.
