CEO Sharena Ali pointed to Hurbis’s blend of creative execution and commercial discipline as the catalyst for the company’s next phase. The firm, a subsidiary of The Cross Country Group, aims to pair smart technology with a more human-centered approach to home service management, a strategy Ali believes is essential for earning modern consumer trust.
Hurbis arrives with a high-profile track record. During his recent tenure as CMO of BetMGM, he spearheaded major experiential campaigns, including the high-visibility "Make It Legendary" series. Prior to that, he spent years at Rocket Mortgage, where he managed a 300-person team, produced Super Bowl advertising, and earned Ad Age’s In-House Agency of the Year honors in 2021. His career began in the automotive sector, where he oversaw the high-stakes reintroduction of FIAT to the U.S. market. Hurbis intends to apply this diverse background to humanize the home warranty experience, citing his own early experience as a first-time homeowner as the inspiration for his customer-focused vision.
