The platform introduces a transparent, order-book-driven approach to a market historically dominated by static pricing and bilateral contracts. Users can route requests through standard OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible APIs, with the system automatically awarding each task to the provider offering the best terms. This setup gives developers granular control over their AI consumption, allowing them to set firm limits on costs, data retention, and throughput before the first token is generated.
Founder and CEO Brett Harrison stated that the tool aims to modernize how companies manage rising AI expenditures. By creating a neutral venue, the exchange enables firms to secure competitive pricing without modifying existing codebases, while allowing providers to monetize idle GPU capacity. This launch follows Architect’s broader push into the AI sector, including its acquisition of the American Innovation Exchange and its work in structuring compute-based derivatives. The platform is now open to developers, who can access the live order book and start routing requests via the company's dedicated portal.
