Vermiculus Debuts AI-Driven Corporate Action Platform VeriAct

Stockholm-based Vermiculus has introduced VeriAct, a cloud-native platform engineered to automate the lifecycle of corporate actions for global market infrastructures. By utilizing a microservices architecture, the system allows operators to configure event types and tax rules without the need for extensive custom hard-coding projects.

The platform addresses the operational friction inherent in managing evolving market demands by parameterizing event types and providing auditable logic. According to Gustav Nystedt, Senior Product Expert at Vermiculus, the system aims to replace rigid, legacy workflows with a flexible interface that handles both live processing and simulations with identical precision. This transparency ensures that downstream systems receive consistent data regardless of the complexity of the underlying event.

Already in use by B3, one of the world's largest market infrastructure operators, the software functions as either a stand-alone tool or an integrated component within Vermiculus' broader suite of trading and clearing solutions. The microservices design enables individual components to operate independently, isolating workloads to maintain high-performance standards across existing infrastructure environments.
