The project centers on replacing fragmented legacy systems with a unified cloud-based ERP and management platform. Cognizant will deploy its proprietary AI-first approach, utilizing custom agents to automate planning, forecasting, and project management. This technical consolidation is intended to move SITA’s finance department away from routine reporting toward a more proactive role in identifying business opportunities.
SITA Chief Financial Officer Nicolas Husson noted that standardizing core processes remains the primary objective for achieving operational agility. For Cognizant, the deal builds on its experience with over 800 cloud ERP projects, leveraging its expertise in embedding intelligence into day-to-day enterprise activities. Roshan Subudhi, SVP at Cognizant, stated that the collaboration is not merely about system modernization, but about reimagining how global teams interact to improve decision-making speed at scale.
