The partnership aims to bridge the gap between document creation and the practical financial mechanics that follow a death. While estate planning has increasingly moved toward digital tools, the back-end banking processes—often mired in physical paperwork and branch visits—have lagged. Through its Probate Express division, Quorum provides a fully digital framework for opening and managing estate and revocable trust accounts, a perspective it now brings to the coalition to help influence industry standards.
Jeffrey Pachter, CEO of Quorum, noted that modernizing the sector requires more than just legal tech; it demands a fundamental shift in banking infrastructure to remove friction for executors and families. By collaborating with the coalition’s diverse membership of legal professionals and technology innovators, the credit union intends to advocate for policies that reflect contemporary asset management. Kristina Howard, Executive Director of the LIVE Coalition, emphasized that Quorum’s inclusion is vital to ensuring that secure, digital-first solutions become the standard for families nationwide.
