Wayland Group Investors Gain Two-Month Extension on Settlement Claims

Investors who held securities in Wayland Group Corp. now have until November 30, 2026, to file for compensation in the ongoing class action settlement. The administrator, Berger Montague (Canada) PC, pushed the original September 30 deadline back by two months, providing a final window for those affected to submit necessary documentation.

The settlement covers individuals who purchased common shares, units, or warrants of the company—formerly known as Maricann Group Corp.—between December 13, 2017, and August 2, 2019. Participation remains contingent on the submission of a valid claim, which can be processed through the secure digital portal managed by Nuvo Claims Inc.

Those who have already filed their paperwork need not take further action. However, legal representatives warn that failing to meet the new November 30 cutoff will result in a total loss of eligibility for settlement funds. For inquiries or assistance with the filing process, claimants should contact Berger Montague at their Toronto office via telephone at (647) 576-7840 or through their designated email address.
