Starting from a sixth-place qualifying position, Shanahan navigated the field by overcoming Jhonnattan Castro, Ryan Tuerck, and Chris Forsberg. His run ended in the Final 4 during a sibling rivalry against his brother, Conor. The match concluded when Jack dropped two tires off the course in Zone 4, narrowly missing a spot in the final heat. Despite the error, the result reinforces his current fourth-place standing in the overall championship.

Ed Cho, CEO of Kumho Tire U.S.A., attributed the performance to the consistent grip and responsiveness of the Ecsta V730 tires under high-pressure track conditions. Shanahan, who previously earned podiums in Long Beach and Connecticut, now looks toward the final round of the season. The championship concludes in Long Beach, California, scheduled for October 23–24.
