Inmar Intelligence Launches Unified Pharmacy Inventory Platform

Winston-Salem-based Inmar Intelligence has launched its Intelligent Inventory platform, a centralized system designed to synchronize pharmacy stock, compliance, and recall management across healthcare networks. The technology aims to bridge the gap between physical supply and digital records, targeting the $900 million annual labor cost currently tied to shortage management.

Inmar Intelligence Launches Unified Pharmacy Inventory Platform

The platform functions as an interoperable orchestration hub, consolidating disparate tools—such as RxTransparent for DSCSA serialization and OneRecall for automated alerts—into a single interface. By automating tasks like cycle counting, PAR-level management, and inbound reconciliation, the system seeks to reduce the administrative burden on pharmacy staff. Brian Nightengale, President of Healthcare at Inmar, notes that the integration allows teams to shift focus from manual inventory tracking to direct patient care.

Beyond basic logistics, the system addresses financial leakage by flagging medications nearing expiration, allowing pharmacy directors to recover value through returns before products become waste. With over 80 percent of hospital pharmacy directors citing a need for better support for frontline technicians, the platform replaces fragmented point solutions with a unified workflow. This shift is intended to improve audit readiness and ensure regulatory alignment while providing executive teams with real-time visibility into inventory assets across entire health systems.
