Dave Simpson and Chad Frampton Receive 2026 GroundBreaker Awards

Simpson joined the organization in 1989 and has led the association for the past twelve years. His tenure focuses on workforce development, safety advocacy, and pushing for legislative shifts in alternative project-delivery methods. Beyond his work with CAGC, he serves as the Immediate Past Chair of the Executive Leadership Council Board of Directors for AGC of America, where he oversees 87 chapters nationwide.

GroundBreak Carolinas Publisher Lauren Gallagher cited the winners for their commitment to mentoring and advancing industry standards. While Simpson accepted the recognition, he redirected credit toward his staff and the broader CAGC membership, characterizing them as the driving force behind the association’s success.
