Joe Granda to Receive Dual Honors for Five Decades in Music

Granda will accept the Empresario Internacional del Año award at the Golden Music Awards in Orlando on October 1. Shortly after, the Unity Coalition will honor his artistic vision at the ORGULLO Honors Awards Dinner & Fashion Show in Miami Beach on October 16. These accolades arrive following a career that began in 1973 with the Miami band Majesty and evolved into a powerhouse of marketing and production.

Throughout his tenure, Granda has acted as a vital conduit for major Latin stars. He managed early promotion for Shakira, executive-produced Grammy-winning remixes for Gloria Estefan, and collaborated with icons including Ricky Martin, Thalía, and Celia Cruz. His work consistently prioritized LGBTQIA+ outreach, producing Pride-focused tours for artists like Ivy Queen and promoting inclusive music labels. Beyond artist management, Granda spent 15 years producing the Viva la Música series at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens, successfully integrating major Latin acts into family-oriented entertainment venues. Today, he remains active through his label, Incluvision, which continues to champion LGBTQIA+ performers.
