The initiative utilizes Octane’s Captive-as-a-Service model, allowing Forest River to offer a full-spectrum financing program branded as Forest River Finance. Underwriting and loan servicing will be handled internally by Octane’s Roadrunner Financial and Roadrunner Account Services, respectively. This structure enables the manufacturer to provide flexible terms and promotional financing without the capital expenditure required to build a lending operation from the ground up.
Forest River President and CEO Doug Gaeddert noted that the company sought a partner capable of scaling competitive programs for dealers of all sizes. The partnership marks Octane’s second foray into the RV market via this service model, following similar expansions into the powersports, automotive, and outdoor power equipment sectors. Octane, which has surpassed $9 billion in total originations, reported a 37% year-over-year increase in originations during the first half of 2026.
