Plainly Debuts Flows to Automate Creative Production Workflows

Creative teams often lose hours to repetitive production tasks, waiting for designers to fulfill routine requests. London-based Plainly is attempting to solve this with the launch of Plainly Flows, a platform designed to shift asset creation from designers to the end users themselves through pre-configured, automated workflows.

The platform allows creative departments to encode their production knowledge into templates. By integrating AI generation steps and specific input fields, teams can empower marketing staff or local branches to generate on-brand assets without manual intervention. Users simply fill out a designated interface, and the system handles the rendering process.

Early adopters have already reported significant time savings. One B2B firm utilized the beta to automate personalized CEO avatar videos, enabling their success team to produce up to 70 renewal videos per month in mere minutes. Another client deployed the tool to generate event graphics on-site via mobile devices, outputting finished video in multiple aspect ratios simultaneously. CEO Nebojša Savičić noted that while most existing automation tools prioritize business data, his company’s approach focuses specifically on creative file production, allowing internal teams to bypass the traditional bottleneck of repetitive design work.
