Starting January 1, 2027, the Board of Trustees will welcome Bonnie Boles of Tanner Health, Sarah Hatchett of Cleveland Clinic, and Inderpal Kohli of University Hospitals. These executives bring deep expertise in clinical transformation and digital strategy to an organization currently grappling with the rapid integration of AI and workforce volatility. Concurrently, Eli Tarlow of CDW joins the CHIME Foundation Board, bridging the gap between provider systems and industry innovators.
Strategic continuity remains a priority for the organization. Dr. Zafar Chaudry is set to assume the role of Board Chairperson in 2027, overseeing the group’s response to global digital health demands. Looking further ahead, the 2028 leadership cycle will feature Matthew Kull as Chairperson, supported by treasurer Andy Crowder and secretary Deborah Muro. According to CHIME President and CEO Russ Branzell, this multi-year succession planning ensures that the association maintains its focus on advocacy and leadership development while the healthcare sector undergoes unprecedented change.
