The global market is consolidating rapidly, with competition pivoting toward sophisticated AI-driven features and specialized cleaning capabilities. IDC data reveals that 7.885 million units were shipped globally in the second quarter of 2026 alone, a period where top-tier brands moved to secure their market share through aggressive innovation.
Roborock’s financial results mirror this reach, with revenue climbing to 10.084 billion RMB in the first half of the year—a 27.6% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Net profit rose by 45.6% to 986 million RMB, bolstered by a 720 million RMB investment in research and development. This spending focuses on advancing robotic mobility and environmental perception, technologies the company showcased at IFA 2026 with new products like the Saros 20 Flow and the RockNeo Q2 robotic mower.
"Our mission is to give time back to our customers by automating everyday tasks," said Quan Gang, President of Roborock. "Building smarter robots is the means, not the goal." Looking beyond vacuum cleaners, the company is now scaling its robotics portfolio into outdoor maintenance and pool cleaning, aiming to integrate autonomous systems deeper into the domestic environment.
