RADwood NorCal Shifts to Evening Format for 2026 Return

Organizers are shifting the event’s traditional daytime footprint toward a more dynamic, sensory-focused evening. Running from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the festival introduces the Wheels in Motion showcase, which features period-correct vehicles performing full-throttle demonstrations against the backdrop of the San Francisco skyline. Hagerty CMO Marc Burns noted that the decision to eliminate entry fees and pivot to a night format aims to deepen community engagement for driving enthusiasts.

The exhibition will host hundreds of vehicles, ranging from Kei cars and tuners to movie icons and the classic rivalry of Mustang versus Camaro. In a significant expansion for the brand, the show is also debuting a 'Millenia' class, which includes notable models produced between 2000 and 2010. Attendees can expect a blend of automotive history and lifestyle elements, including local food trucks, a period-correct costume contest, and a curated soundtrack provided by official partner Pioneer. While general admission is free with advance registration, Hagerty Drivers Club members will receive early entry at 3 p.m.
