The demonstration utilizes the CMB100 development kit, which relies on an LTE Cat 1 bis module to establish network access via a NExT SIM card. By leveraging an onboard ST microcontroller, the system downloads Skylark GNSS correction data from Swift Navigation. This data is injected into the SE868K5-RTK or SE868K5-D receivers to refine positioning accuracy significantly beyond standard GPS capabilities. A unified interface allows developers to monitor the workflow in real time, streamlining the integration of complex location services for sectors like robotics, autonomous systems, and smart infrastructure.
Eric Lagorce, global head of GNSS and wireless technology at Telit Cinterion, noted that the company aims to collapse the traditional complexity of managing disparate location technologies into a single, cohesive ecosystem. By centralizing cellular connectivity and positioning services, the company intends to reduce development cycles for industrial and logistics applications. Attendees in Amsterdam can view the live debugging and performance metrics on-site through September 23.
