Oracle and Wipro Align to Streamline Global Drug Safety Operations

Wipro will utilize the Oracle Argus platform to manage drug safety data, automate reporting workflows, and enhance post-marketing surveillance. By shifting to a managed services model, the firm aims to eliminate the technical burden of maintaining on-premises infrastructure for its clients. This collaboration introduces a go-to-market strategy featuring preconfigured environments, which allows companies to bypass lengthy setup phases and initiate safety operations immediately upon onboarding.

Jasjit Singh Kang, managing partner at Wipro, noted that the integration provides scalable, ready-to-deploy services tailored for a global market. Seema Verma, executive vice president at Oracle Health and Life Sciences, emphasized that the partnership combines Oracle’s established safety technology with Wipro’s domain expertise to create a more agile framework for drug development. The initiative covers the entire safety lifecycle, including case processing and regulatory submissions, effectively streamlining how pharmaceutical companies maintain compliance from clinical trials through to patient monitoring.
