Private equity firm Heartwood Partners has finalized a growth investment in The Xtreme Group, a Miami-based aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul provider. Heartwood Partners Backs The Xtreme Group in Aviation MRO Expansion

The Xtreme Group, founded in 2013 by CEO Carlos Cock, operates as a comprehensive platform serving cargo and commercial aviation sectors. Its portfolio includes airframe maintenance, engine services through Ignite Aero Engines, and aircraft leasing via Aventus Air Leasing II. The company maintains a network of line maintenance stations across major U.S. airports to support its customer base.

Heartwood Partners, which manages over $1.4 billion in assets, plans to utilize its low-leverage, growth-oriented investment model to scale TXG’s operations. Ed Tan, managing partner at Heartwood, noted that the relationship originated at an industry trade show and will now focus on accelerating the company's existing trajectory. Executives from both firms indicated that the partnership will pursue growth through both organic development and strategic add-on acquisitions. For the TXG team, the infusion of capital provides the resources necessary to broaden service offerings while maintaining the safety and performance standards established over the past decade.
