Treehouse Hotel Manchester Expands Into Urban Resort Territory

The project introduces three distinct rooftop concepts: Sister Moon, a fire-focused restaurant led by Chef Sam Grainger; The Nest, a cocktail bar specializing in agave-based drinks; and The Hideout, an intimate speakeasy lounge. These additions join nine new premium suites on the 11th and 12th floors, designed with reclaimed woods and eclectic textiles to mimic a residential hideaway.

Beyond dining and accommodation, the hotel is deepening its wellness footprint. Guests can now access covered padel courts at The Pollen Club and a wood-fired outdoor sauna managed by The Good Sauna Co. These amenities, alongside the existing fitness center and cinema, reflect a strategy by Starwood Hotels founder Barry Sternlicht to create a space that functions as a community anchor rather than a standard transit point for tourists.
