Gilliland brings nearly two decades of product development experience to the Trevose-based firm, including a 12-year tenure at Zillow. During his time there, he served as vice president of product, managing complex marketplaces that connected real estate professionals with buyers and sellers. ASI intends to leverage this background to enhance ESP+, which currently links distributors with over 3,000 suppliers and offers a catalog of 1.2 million products.
CEO Ashish Mittal emphasized that the move reflects a need for rapid innovation rather than incremental updates. The company is already integrating machine learning into its ecosystem, having recently launched the Inspire Design Studio in July. This tool allows distributors to generate realistic lifestyle images and visual assets directly within the platform. Gilliland plans to build upon ASI’s existing industry network by automating administrative tasks, ultimately giving members more capacity to focus on client relationships and creative strategy.
