The accolade follows a year-long evaluation process involving more than 100 nationalities. Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted noted that the win reflects consistent service standards and a customer-focused approach that distinguishes the airline within the competitive U.S. leisure travel sector. Allegiant CEO Greg Anderson attributed the streak to the dedication of the airline’s workforce, emphasizing that the company’s focus remains on providing accessible, nonstop travel to underserved communities.
This recognition arrives as Allegiant deepens its integration with Sun Country Airlines. The merger creates a combined entity operating nearly 200 aircraft across 175 cities. While the two brands maintain separate booking systems for now, Allegiant plans to unify its operations and service standards under a single certificate within two years. Beyond the Skytrax honor, the airline also secured high marks in recent industry assessments, including top-tier rankings in The Wall Street Journal’s 2025 airline survey and J.D. Power’s satisfaction studies, further cementing its role as a leader in the value-focused travel market.
