Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Distributes $100,000 to Local Hispanic Nonprofits

To mark the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has pledged $100,000 to local community organizations. The initiative, which runs through October 15, provides $10,000 grants to 10 nonprofits, continuing a multi-year effort that has now supported 30 groups across Central Florida.

The donation is part of the property’s broader "My Rhythm. My Flavor. ¡Mi Gente!" campaign. This year’s recipients include the Hispanic Chamber of Metro Orlando, the Hispanic Federation, and the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, among others. According to leadership at the casino, the goal is to foster authentic connections while celebrating the cultural contributions of the region’s Latin community.

Beyond the financial support, the property is hosting a month of cultural programming. Guests can attend salsa lessons at the L Bar, live music sessions at the Hard Rock Cafe, and themed nights at the Rez Grill. Culinary teams have also introduced a limited-time "Sabores" menu featuring regional specialties like seafood paella and mojo pork. To round out the celebration, the casino has unveiled a memorabilia exhibit showcasing items from Latin music legends, including Shakira, Tito Puente, and Christina Aguilera.
