Mirova Overhauls Leadership Team to Scale Sustainable Investment

Paris-based sustainable investment manager Mirova has unveiled a restructured executive committee, marking the next stage of its corporate evolution under CEO Léa Dunand-Chatellet. The new leadership lineup integrates external strategic expertise with internal investment experience to navigate the maturing global market for sustainable finance.

The reorganized committee brings together a blend of cross-functional talent spanning private assets, listed markets, and business development. A significant addition to the firm is Candice Brenet, who joins as Deputy CEO and Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. Brenet arrives from a background in leading financial institutions, tasked with providing an external perspective on strategy and market transformation.

Following the January 2026 merger with Thematics Asset Management, Karen Kharmandarian has been appointed Chief Investment Officer for Listed Assets. He succeeds Hervé Guez, who will depart the firm at the end of September. The remaining leadership team includes Laurence Willig as Deputy CEO, Raphaël Lance as CIO of Private Assets, Alix Boisaubert as Chief Business Development Officer, and Mathilde Dufour as Chief Sustainability and Talent Officer.

Dunand-Chatellet, who assumed the CEO role in July 2026, emphasized that these appointments are intended to sharpen execution as the firm manages €36.7 billion in assets. The shift reflects a broader push to maintain Mirova’s position as a mission-driven entity while expanding its reach across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
