TCA Wins Accredited Debt Relief Media Account Amid Market Surge

Accredited Debt Relief has appointed TCA as its first-ever media agency of record, tasking the Omnicom-owned firm with orchestrating national strategy and investment. The move comes as the debt relief provider scales its marketing footprint to reach a growing population of U.S. households navigating record-high debt levels.

The appointment follows a competitive review involving major holding companies and independent agencies. For TCA, the mandate involves integrating brand-building efforts with demand generation, leveraging Omnicom’s proprietary data and technology to improve measurable business outcomes. According to Lauren Gordon, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Accredited Debt Relief, the company sought a partner capable of acting as a direct extension of their internal team while maintaining a focus on consumer credibility.

This strategic shift coincides with a challenging financial climate, as U.S. household debt reached $18.8 trillion in early 2026. With credit card balances hitting $1.26 trillion, demand for debt consolidation services has spiked, driving the category’s media spend to $271 million in the first half of the year alone. Accredited Debt Relief is currently amplifying its market presence through campaigns featuring Rob Lowe and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bill Cowher, focusing on the emotional toll of financial hardship. TCA CEO Natalie Rutledge noted that the agency will focus on connecting media investment to tangible growth, ensuring that the brand’s expanded visibility translates into meaningful support for consumers facing economic pressure.
