In his new capacity, Wiessbrod will manage a broad portfolio encompassing global order management, supply chain logistics, procurement, and field services. His appointment comes as the company seeks to refine its operational agility to support its network of over 750,000 tracked vehicles and equipment assets. CEO Ricardo Buranello emphasized that the firm’s internal capabilities must evolve alongside customer demand, citing Wiessbrod’s two decades of experience in high-pressure sectors as the primary driver for this leadership change.
Wiessbrod’s background includes extensive work across both public and private sectors, with a proven focus on resource allocation and operational discipline. At his previous post with the Blackstone-backed Recurrent Ventures, he oversaw finance, IT, and human resources, successfully navigating complex portfolio optimizations. He now aims to build upon Teletrac Navman’s existing foundation to foster a more high-performing, streamlined organization.
