The project serves as the latest expansion of the Impact Fellowships Network, a global community comprising over 850 fellowship professionals. By creating shared systems and practical resources, the initiative aims to help organizations move beyond isolated engagement efforts toward a more collaborative global model. Over the next two years, the program will pilot alumni engagement mapping, specialized toolkits, and the formation of an Alumni Advisory Council to codify best practices.
The launch draws on data from the Fellowship Alumni Network Survey and the 2026 Impact Study, translating research into actionable services for program providers. Xiomara Enriquez, Leadership Programs Officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, noted that the initiative seeks to redefine the scope of fellowship influence by ensuring skills developed during programs continue to benefit local communities for years. IREX President and CEO Aleksander Dardeli emphasized that the partnership will provide the infrastructure needed to turn evidence-based insights into tangible progress across diverse sectors.
