To sharpen its competitive edge, JLL has appointed Paul Morgan as its first global Chief Operating Officer, a move designed to centralize the firm's operational expertise. JLL Names Paul Morgan as First Global Chief Operating Officer

Reporting directly to CEO Christian Ulbrich, Morgan takes on the responsibility of unifying JLL’s enterprise-wide operations into a single global function. The appointment marks a pivot for the Chicago-based real estate firm, which seeks to move beyond siloed business lines toward a more standardized, technology-enabled platform. By consolidating these capabilities, JLL aims to increase delivery speed and consistency for its Fortune 500 client base.

Ulbrich noted that the decision follows years of internal integration that improved the firm’s financial performance. For Morgan, the role is a progression from his previous tenure as COO of Real Estate Management Services, where he oversaw building lifecycle solutions. With 18 years of prior experience at Johnson Controls and a decade within JLL, Morgan will now focus on the 'Unlock Platform Excellence' imperative of the Accelerate 2030 agenda, ensuring the company’s 112,000 employees operate with greater synergy.
