The 2027 rankings, published by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, surveyed over 420 MBA programs across 65 countries. US business schools solidified their international lead, with 150 institutions represented in the final list. Beyond the top four finishers—which include Harvard, Stanford, and Penn—the Chicago Booth School of Business made a notable return to the top ten, rising to the tenth position.

Specialized master's programs saw similar growth, with US entries increasing to 286 from 245 in the previous cycle. MIT continued its academic sweep by securing the top global ranking for both Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management. Financial outcomes for graduates also trended upward, with the average post-MBA salary in the US climbing to $115,492. QS President Nunzio Quacquarelli noted that the US maintains its status as the primary powerhouse for graduate management education, supported by consistent investment in both curriculum quality and industry-aligned research.
