Institute for Portfolio Alternatives Names 21 Industry Leaders

The awards, presented before an audience of 550 industry experts, spanned five distinct categories: Outstanding Service, Policy Leadership, Rising Voice, Emerging Champion, and Lifetime Achievement. According to Anya Coverman, President and CEO of the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives, these individuals were selected for their willingness to share expertise and advance critical policy priorities that strengthen the community.

Notable recipients included Thomas Selman, President and CEO of SCOPUS Financial Group, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Selman’s career spans over two decades of regulatory work, including his former tenure as Executive Vice President for Regulatory Policy at FINRA. Other honorees represented major firms such as Fidelity Investments, Blackstone, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Vanguard, underscoring the diversity of the alternative investment ecosystem.
