Hexnode Launches Synapse to Automate IT and Security Workflows

Enterprises currently grapple with an average of 75 security tools, creating a fragmented landscape where IT teams manually bridge gaps between disparate systems. At HexCon26 in San Francisco, Hexnode unveiled Hexnode Synapse, an orchestration layer designed to automate these complex tasks through governed, agentic AI.

The platform functions by deploying specialized AI agents that reason through incoming alerts and requests, executing tasks across an organization’s software stack. Rather than forcing administrators to toggle between consoles, Synapse coordinates actions across Hexnode UEM, Hexnode XDR, and Hexnode IdP, while integrating with third-party tools like ServiceNow, Zendesk, Microsoft Entra ID, and BambooHR.

CEO Apu Pavithran emphasized that the system is built to handle the heavy lifting of routine operations—such as onboarding employees or patching vulnerabilities—while keeping human oversight for high-stakes decisions. Sensitive actions, including device wipes or privilege changes, trigger mandatory approval gates. Every move made by an agent is logged in an Execution Centre, providing a traceable audit trail that replaces manual evidence collection. Hexnode Synapse is scheduled for an invite-only trial later this year.
