Florida Clears Savvas Learning Math Curriculum for Statewide Use

The Florida Department of Education has officially approved a comprehensive suite of mathematics materials from Savvas Learning Company for the 2026-2027 academic year. The decision confirms that the publisher’s customized curriculum aligns with state standards, covering everything from kindergarten fundamentals to advanced college-level algebra and statistics.

Florida Clears Savvas Learning Math Curriculum for Statewide Use

The state’s endorsement covers the enVision+ Florida series, which spans K-8 and high school Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Regulators determined that these materials meet the Florida Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards and effectively prepare students for the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) exams. The adoption includes both traditional print formats and digital access via the Savvas Realize learning management platform.

Beyond core K-12 instruction, the state approved two advanced electives: Outlier College Algebra Florida and Outlier Intro to Statistics Florida. These courses utilize mastery-based learning techniques designed by experts, including former Math Olympiad coaches and researchers. Previous iterations of Savvas programs in Florida have already demonstrated positive impacts on student outcomes, meeting ESSA Level 2 evidence requirements. By integrating these resources, the state aims to provide teachers with vertically aligned tools that maintain pedagogical consistency from early education through high school graduation.
