Dolly Parton to Open SongTeller Hotel and Life of Many Colors Museum

The SongTeller Hotel functions as a tribute to Parton’s career, housing two distinct entertainment hubs: Jolene’s, a top-floor lounge for evening sets, and Parton’s Live, a second-floor space dedicated to the city’s songwriting culture. Beginning September 14, the hotel will host a rotating lineup of talent, including performances by Parton’s family members Richie Owens and Jada Star, alongside collaborations with the FEMcountry platform to support women in the music industry.

Occupying the hotel’s third floor, Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum provides a deep dive into the entertainer’s history. Spanning over 20,000 square feet, the exhibition features artifacts and interactive displays curated by Parton’s sister, Rachel Parton George, and niece, Rebecca Seaver. Guests are guided through the narrative by Parton herself, starting from her childhood cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains. Beyond the exhibits, the museum includes two retail spaces and serves as a venue for private events, further integrating Parton’s personal history into the fabric of downtown Nashville.
