Kidney Advocates Converge in Little Rock for 51st National Meeting

The gathering kicks off at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center with a public policy forum, revisiting the site of the group's landmark 2011 event that linked dialysis care standards to patient unemployment and economic dependency. This year's program serves as a core component of the organization's Decade of the Kidney™ initiative, featuring more than 30 experts ranging from policy influencers to innovation leaders in the pharmaceutical and diagnostic sectors.

Local expertise from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences will anchor the sessions. Dr. John M. Arthur is slated to address Cardio Kidney Metabolic syndrome, while Dr. Brandi P. Wright covers associated lab values. Dr. Manisha Singh will lead discussions on rare kidney diseases, and Joy Cope will provide guidance on maintaining transplant eligibility. They will be joined by Dr. Dominic Raj of George Washington University and Dr. Prabir Roy-Chaudhury of the University of North Carolina to examine transformative shifts in renal science.

Following the opening forum at the Clinton Center, the meeting shifts to the Little Rock Marriott for three days of programming. The event builds on the success of the All Kidney Policy is Local™ campaign, which has facilitated over 300 legislative meetings with Congressional decision-makers since 2025.
