The report indicates that loan growth is not merely a matter of frequency but also of scale. The median multifamily loan size rose by 8.3 percent, while the mean increase hit 23.3 percent, pointing to a concentration of capital in larger deals. This uptick mirrors a wider resurgence across various commercial lending categories that had previously faced headwinds.
Adam Craig, CEO of GoDocs, noted that the current market environment exposes the limitations of manual document preparation. According to Craig, institutions capable of capturing this recovery are those actively modernizing their workflows to manage the inherent complexity of high-value commercial loans. GoDocs, which has processed over $200 billion in loan value, suggests that the shift toward automated systems is becoming a competitive necessity for lenders aiming to maintain speed without sacrificing regulatory compliance.
