This expansion integrates ChemTreat into the regional infrastructure, building on its existing status as Dow's preferred provider in Virginia and a strategic partner nationwide. The collaboration leverages ChemTreat’s Blueprint to Beyond program, which focuses on preparing cooling systems for startup conditions before a facility actually goes live.
Chuck Carn, Dow’s Data Center Growth Platform Director, noted that the initiative addresses a critical timing gap in the industry: operators often lack sufficient coolant support during the early construction phases. By placing qualified teams on the ground in Ohio, the partners intend to mitigate risks to uptime through localized access to DOWFROST fluids and certified performance testing.
For facilities in the region, the service includes access to Dow’s technical specialists and specialized heat transfer fluids for both direct-to-chip and facility-wide cooling loops. Joe Keating, ChemTreat’s VP of Global Sales and Services, emphasized that this level of collaboration is essential as data centers face increasingly complex thermal management challenges. ChemTreat currently manages water and cooling treatment for more than 200 data center sites across North and South America.
