Hisense Demonstrates AI-Driven Home Automation at IFA 2026

Under the banner of "Innovating a Brighter Life," Hisense is showcasing its new AI Companion Suite at IFA 2026, shifting focus toward autonomous home management. The company is integrating its proprietary V AIOS platform across kitchen, laundry, and climate systems to automate tasks ranging from meal planning to energy consumption.

The exhibition highlights a connected ecosystem where appliances communicate to reduce user intervention. In the kitchen, a refrigerator identifies stored ingredients to suggest recipes, syncing directly with ovens to manage cooking parameters, while dishwashers automatically calibrate cleaning cycles based on load conditions. Similar automation extends to the laundry suite, which detects fabric characteristics to determine optimal wash and dry settings.

Climate control and energy management remain central to the display. The company’s air conditioning units adjust airflow based on real-time occupancy, while integrated energy systems monitor weather patterns and electricity pricing to optimize household efficiency. Jason Ou, President of Hisense MEA and India, noted that these developments represent a commitment to technology that addresses specific consumer needs across global markets.

Beyond internal hardware, the company is expanding its software reach through a partnership with Amazon. By integrating with the Alexa+ AI assistant, users will soon be able to execute complex climate control commands via natural language. Several products featured in the suite, including the Multi Function II Series HVAC solution and the U8 Air Master, received industry recognition during the event, underscoring the shift toward hardware that utilizes sensory input, autonomous decision-making, and natural communication to manage domestic environments.
