Haier Unveils AI-Native Smart Home Ecosystem at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Haier debuted an AI-integrated ecosystem designed to shift home appliances from passive tools to adaptive partners. Under the theme 'Home of Intelligent Possibilities,' the company showcased a suite of connected devices that sense environmental context and user habits to automate complex daily chores.

The company’s latest lineup, including the Vision 15 washing machine and the Maestro refrigeration prototype, leverages internal sensors and computer vision to manage resources autonomously. The Vision 15 adjusts detergent and drum cycles based on real-time load analysis, while the AI Food Care System 2.0 identifies ingredients to optimize storage conditions. In the kitchen, the ID Ultimate Series 6 oven utilizes camera-based progress monitoring to halt cooking once the desired result is achieved, mirroring the predictive adjustments seen in their UltraSense AI television technology.

Beyond individual appliances, the hOn application serves as the digital connective tissue, coordinating these disparate systems into unified household routines. This platform approach has gained significant traction, with Haier reporting over 130 million registered users and 86.1 billion smart scene interactions throughout 2025. The company’s dominance in the sector is backed by a massive investment strategy, with plans to commit 13 billion euros over the next five years toward artificial intelligence, semiconductor development, and IoT security.

Haier is also pushing into physical automation by integrating humanoid robots and cleaning systems capable of object recognition. This focus on embodied intelligence extends to the Haier Exoskeleton, a wearable device that interprets movement intentions to assist with human mobility. These developments are fueled by an '10+N' open innovation system, which has secured the top spot on IPRdaily’s global smart home patent list for 15 consecutive cycles.
