The award recognizes Amwell’s ability to move beyond isolated point solutions by providing an enterprise-grade operating layer. Industry analysts highlighted the platform’s capacity to orchestrate complex clinical workflows across primary care, behavioral health, and chronic condition management. According to Sagar Mukhekar, an industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan, the platform’s strength lies in its combination of reliability and clinically integrated workflows, which allows organizations to improve member engagement and scale digital care delivery effectively.

Amwell currently manages over 90 million covered lives and has facilitated more than 38.7 million virtual visits. The company’s influence extends to large-scale operations, including the Defense Health Agency’s Military Health System, which supports roughly 9.6 million beneficiaries. Evidence of the platform’s clinical impact was recently documented in a National Institute of Mental Health-funded study published in Nature Human Behaviour. The research demonstrated that students using Amwell’s SilverCloud platform engaged with mental healthcare at double the rate of traditional methods, while simultaneously generating significant cost savings.

Dan Zamansky, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Amwell, noted that the company’s focus remains on building an open, enterprise-ready infrastructure that avoids the risks of digital fragmentation. By prioritizing intelligent navigation and third-party integration, Amwell aims to ensure that technology directly translates into measurable clinical and business outcomes.
