Founded in 2015 by Emil Davtyan, the firm originally focused exclusively on wage-and-hour class actions. Following a 2023 rebrand, the practice pivoted to include single-plaintiff employment litigation. Davtyan attributes this acceleration to a strategy of bringing all litigation in-house, moving away from external reliance to maintain direct control over case outcomes. This operational shift required aggressive recruitment, supported by a dedicated summer associate program and the strategic acquisitions of the Law Offices of Kevin T. Barnes and David Yeremian & Associates in 2023.
With a total workforce now exceeding 200 employees across 16 state offices, the firm has moved its headquarters to a company-owned building in Pasadena. This infrastructure investment provides the foundation for their next phase: expansion into Washington, New York, Illinois, Colorado, and Oregon. By securing its own office space, the firm signals a commitment to long-term stability rather than temporary scaling, aiming to replicate its California model in these new jurisdictions.
