Jackery Unveils FortiShield Safety System at IFA 2026

Conflict lead: While U.S. residential electricity costs climb by 25% and aging grids struggle with severe weather, Jackery is shifting its strategy from simple portable power to comprehensive home energy security. At IFA 2026, the company is debuting a hardware ecosystem anchored by a new seven-layer safety architecture.

The centerpiece of Jackery’s Berlin showcase is the FortiShield Safety System, a security framework certified by Frost & Sullivan. The system addresses battery performance through cell-level protection, heat-insulating structural designs, and automated fault monitoring. According to the company, this architecture will now serve as the baseline for its entire product lineup, ranging from portable stations to whole-home backup solutions.

Beyond hardware safety, the company is expanding its disaster-response capabilities with the Red Cross Explorer 2000 Plus V2. The unit features an automated storm-tracking function that syncs with weather data to pre-charge the battery before power outages occur. This focus on residential resilience is further supported by the EnergyGuard Max, a high-capacity system utilizing liquid cooling and a 10ms UPS-grade transfer capability, designed to maintain critical household loads when the grid fails. Jackery continues its exhibition at Messe Berlin through September 8.
